FAQ

  1. Can I use my own domain name?
Certainly! After signing up for your MinistryPath.com website account, just have your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Tucows, eNom, etc) update the A record to 173.203.104.239 and your domain name will be connected to your MinistryPath.com website. If you are not sure how to do this, call the company you purchased your domain name from and ask them to do this for you or to show you how to do it.

  2. Do I need to have a domain name?
Nope. During signup, you will choose a unique username for your new MinistryPath.com website account. This will form your "temporary" domain name, such as http://username.ministrypath.com. We say temporary because most users choose to purchase a domain name and connect it with their website (see question 1 above).

  3. Do I need a separate hosting account?
No. Your MinistryPath.com website is a "hosted" service, which means we take care of all the hosting. So feel free to get rid of your old hosting account after signing up with us!

  4. Can I use a Mac to manage my website?
Absolutely! Whether you are a Mac or a PC, you can manage your website. Our system is web-based - which means it is compatible with any operating system on the planet. As long as you have an Internet connection and a web browser (we recommend Firefox), you can manage your website - from anywhere in the world.
